INTRODUCTION
Jesus instituted baptism when he commissioned his disciples before his ascension. (Ascension: The ascension of Jesus describes Christ's transition from earth to heaven after his life, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection. Acts 1:9-11)
After baptism, you start with spiritual "milk". 1 Corinthians 3:2. Jesus allows you time to grow! Hebrews 5:12-14. Remember this: you are in a critical period. As a babe, you can be easily "tossed about." Ephesians 4:14. Satan often strikes hardest at the beginning of your walk with Jesus. Matthew 4:1-11. Satan would love to see you fail! 1 Peter 5:8.
You face the possibility of falling. If you allow yourself to CONTINUE IN SIN AFTER BAPTISM, and you never seek the Lord for the Holy Ghost, Your heart can be hardened by the deceit of sin. Hebrews 3:12-14. Especially when you think you are strong. 1 Corinthians 10:12. You must trust Jesus to fill you with the Holy Ghost. Jesus will help you through temptations. 1 John 2:1-2
STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. Long for the Word, like an infant longing for milk. 1 Peter 2:2. Emulate the Bereans in their attitude. PLEASE READ: Acts 17:11
Be fervent in prayer. Jesus has made it possible to approach God's throne. Hebrews 4:14-16. Wonderful blessings come through prayer. Philippians 4:6-7. Be devoted to prayer with an attitude of thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
Keep assembling with like-minded believers in Christ in His Church. We are not to forsake our assembling together. Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42; 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. Neglecting the assemblies is a symptom of spiritual stagnation and complacency.
Help save others. The Lord wants His disciples to make more disciples. Matthew 28:19-20. Those diligent in saving others are more likely to save themselves. 1 Corinthians 9:19-27. Never lose your enthusiasm for saving souls Resist becoming complacent!
CONCLUSION
This broadcast will be helpful for someone recently baptized. But not just for new Christians; backsliders can benefit from it.
If you are a backslider that has left Jesus, which must be your first love, then REPENT! Revelations 2:4. According to Revelations 2:5, So, we all need to confess our sins daily and repent before arrogance, unbelief, pride and selfishness drive the love, obedience, honor, and reverence of the Lord out of our hearts. Don’t make it complicated, just repent and turn back to JESUS!
We need Jesus to help us love Him. Yes, there are times we may "love Him" when we feel good and happy, but most of the time we may either forget about Him or we may not even consider Him. This is why it is important to be filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues.
AFTER BAPTISM! The Holy Spirit is a gift from the Father and is extremely important. The Holy Ghost allows the Lord’s love to constrain, motivate, and compel us to live for Him; living for the Lord means that we’re determined to gain the honor of being well-pleasing to Jesus, thus being under His direction, guidance, leading, and control so that we may satisfy His desires, fulfill His requirements, and complete what He intends for us to do in the Kingdom. The love of Jesus constrains to know him only through the Word of God. Trying to have a personal relationship with Jesus without being filled with the Spirit and seeking Him through the Word is like trying to know Jesus after the flesh. Only the Spirit knows the deep things of God. Paul makes this plain in 1 Corinthians 2:10-16 PLEASE READ
The love of Christ constrains us His love becomes the control factor in our hearts. It sets us free from selfishness and pride.

AFTER BAPTISM, your motivation of this NEW LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS is BECAUSE of your LOVE for JESUS! Or, perhaps there are some listening that first need to obey the "first steps" of the gospel of Christ. Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 22:16. Regardless, if you are a backslider, lukewarm saint or a sinner or time to make JESUS your choice.
