Peter’s mistake wasn’t “doing bad stuff”—it was treating even the greatest spiritual heroes (Moses + Elijah) like equals with Jesus, and God interrupts: “This is my Son… listen to Him.” ⛅️????
The warning is for us too: good things can compete with God things, and we stop listening when we put anything—leaders, traditions, emotions, even “great” spirituality—on the same level as Jesus ⚖️????.
So how do we listen? Not mainly by feelings, but by surrender + obedience: give Him first place, do what He says, and let action lead emotions ????????
