Zechariah's prophecy foretold of Judas' bargain he made with the religious leaders when he sold out Jesus for a mere 30 pieces of silver. This menial amount speaks of how much he valued his relationship with Jesus. As such, we learn that the most valuable thing we have today is our relationship with God which was established for us in His love that sent His Son. One day everything else will be gone, but His love for us remains forever! It is utter foolishness and sheer folly to sell out so great a gift for anything else. There is no price that could match the riches we already possess if we have been born of God through faith in Jesus Christ!
