Life is full of suffering. You can pretty much count on that. But Christianity gives us more that we can count on: hope and resurrection from death! In this sermon we look at the story of Elisha raising the Shunammite’s Son and learn about how we can deal with the suffering that comes with life.

This is a WELS sermon on the readings from Year A Lent 5: Jesus will raise us from death to life. Readings are 2 Kings 4:18-37; Romans 8:11-19; and John 11:17-27, 38-45.
