Peter, the disciples of Jesus, is a man who can be just as right as he can be wrong when he speaks. Often, his tone changes when the circumstances change – like us! Here in Matthew 16, we find a moment that Peter gets Jesus wrong as he confronts the reality of who Jesus is and where Jesus clearly tells the disciples that He is going, a moment just after Peter has just spoken his confession of Jesus rightly. Our question for today: What does it mean for us to be confident disciples? So, too, where do we go to find our confidence to daily live our faith in Jesus?
