When a deep hurt from the church caused him to question the loving nature of God, Clay Caldwell dove headfirst into a life of heavy drug use and self-hatred, eventually manifesting itself as Chron’s Disease. After two decades, Clay felt he had reached his own personal limit and desired to return to his Christian upbringing. Unsure where to begin, his father invited him on a trip out to Colorado in 2012, where they had visited Charis Bible College.
