While our ministry and Charis locations around the world see signs, wonders and miracles happen in the lives of our students every day, we don’t often see the battle our Directors fight each and every day. Directors like Jan and Elly Van der Horst, who run our ministry location in Holland. For four years, Elly suffered with debilitating pain in her hip and back. As her and Jan proclaimed her healing, the symptoms got worse just before they came to our International Directors Meeting. Seeing this as an attack on their marriage, Elly went with Jan anyway, where the two took their stance against the enemy.
