When Roger and Isel were invited by Charis Graduate Esther - Founder of The Purim Trust - to minister to those in the slums of Manila, they were both deeply disturbed by the poverty they saw in their homeland. Unsure of how she could fill such a great need, Isel cried out to God asking Him to guide her. Recognizing a call not to be missionaries, but to bring refreshment and rejuvenation to those who are sent out, Roger and Isel began their ministry: Times of Refreshing.
