In this morning's family service, the latest in our sermon series on friendship, we turn to focus on friendship with sinners:
* Luke Campbell hosts the service from our building in Cirencester.
* Tim Jee, Andy Hennegan, Samuel Edwardes, Jaden Chandanam and Victoria Blackman lead sung worship.
* Naomi Shrubsole brings us the all-age slot, asking what makes a good friend?
* Matt Frost meets with Jethro Kingsley and Stephi Scott to discuss Green Pastures (https://circbap.org/greenpastures), the potential project to open a home for the homeless in Cirencester. There are a number of roles that must be filled for the project to get off the ground.
* We are in the planning phase for a CBC weekend away in November. Do give some thought as to whether you'd like to attend - complete the poll (https://cirbap.org/weekendawaypoll). We show the highlights reel from the last event 4 years ago.
* Matt speaks on today's passage, Luke 7:31-35 (https://cirbap.org/luke7), and considers how we can be a friend that shines for God.
Songs include:
* Here for You
* How great is our God
* Shout to the Lord
* Hosanna
Tonight's 6:30pm service will held in-person at our building in Cirencester. Seating will allow for social distancing and masks will need to be worn.
