4 things that (usually) need to happen before God will bless you.
1. You Will Need to Faithfully Go Through a Season of Waiting
God promised Abraham a son, but he made him wait 25 more years before Isaac was born.
2. You Will Need to Go Through a Season of Testing
After God gave Abraham a son, Genesis 22:1 states, “Some time later God tested Abraham.” When Abraham showed God he would not withhold Isaac, God let Isaac live.
3. God Will Increase Your Faith
Romans 4:20-21 it states, “No unbelief made [Abraham] waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.”
4. God Will Transform Your Understanding of What His Blessings Actually Look Like
Abraham thought God’s blessing would come through Ishmael, but God showed him the blessing would come through Isaac. (Genesis 17:19-22)
