OK, let us look at Philippians 2:12-13 tonight. There are many questions to think about, but here are a few:

1. Verse 12 starts with, "Therefore..." what is this pointing to? For this leads Paul to say what he says.
2.What does Paul mean by "salvation" in verse 12?
3.What does Paul mean by "with fear and trembling"? How can we get a better understanding of this phrase from elsewhere in Pauline literature? In other words, Paul is saying...
4.Verse 13 starts with "FOR"... what is it there for?
5.How does verse 14 connect to all of this?
Out of all of the above, how to define "fear and trembling" and what it should bring to our mind is of utmost importance, since we are being called to "work out your own salvation WITH fear and trembling..." so if anything, as time allows, think on that phrase.
