Last week we studied John’s account of Jesus calling His first disciples into discipleship.

And what I hoped stood out to you, was that when these first disciples heard the Word of God, and then opened their hearts to the calling of the Holy Spirit through that Word, they were converted into the men that God wanted them to be, faithful disciples. This conversion that took place, is a key factor of Christianity.

You see, there is, and ought to, be a clear difference between the Christian and the unbeliever; And this difference should be evident for at least two reasons, reasons that we will examine today.
