God Is Not Performing Physical Miracles Today

Physical miracles are temporary (Lazarus died again.). We are to look at the things which are not seen; these are eternal (II Cor. 4:17-18).

Physical miracles do not always work out for the best. Hezekiah was going to die (II Kings 20:1). God gave him 15 more years (II Kings 20:5-6). Hezekiah showed Israel’s riches to Babylon (II Kings 20:12-17), and had a son who was a very evil king (II Kings 21:1-7).

God is not doing physical miracles today as He did in the New Testament, where someone prayed for someone else and they were healed (I Cor. 12:28).

If God is doing physical healings today, why isn’t everyone healed (Mat. 4:23-25; Acts 5:15-16, 6:8, 8:6-7, 19:11-12)?

Joh. 4:48, I Cor. 1:22, and Heb. 2:4 give purpose of miracles.
