Job 16:21
O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour!
 
Gill's commentary
".....using great freedom, and powerful arguments, and having no dread of the judge, nor fear of carrying the cause for his neighbour;....."
 
What a request! What a need!
 
O that there would be some Christians who were close enough to the Lord to approach Him boldly and plead the cause of others.
 
And O, that those who were close to the Lord would do so.
 
The Bible tells us that we have that access to the Lord; the issue is that we may not spend as much time there as we ought on the behalf of others.
