What does the Bible say about parenting?

It starts with being the example.

Jesus said, “I have set you an example…”

That’s where we begin — by living it first.

Then comes teaching and training.

Proverbs 22:6 says,
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Spend time with them —
when you sit at home, when you walk, lie down, and rise up.

And above all, love them.

1 John 4:19 says,
“We love Him because He first loved us.”

Children learn love by being loved first.

Be the example. Teach. Love. That’s biblical parenting.
