Description: Eternal Life is given to anyone who believes in Christ as their Savior. Boasting has no place in the regeneration of the believer except in the truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior, the Life-giver. Boasting also has no value for the believer who has already been given Eternal Life, because the life we are called to live is supernatural and requires the moment by moment power of the God who lives in the believer through the Holy Spirit, to accomplish it. It is not a life of duty or obligation but of trust, dependence, and yielding to God and His will as laid out in scripture.
