As we finish the Book of Galatians, we see the centrality of the cross and the promise of being new creations. The teachers of law-works always want to compel people to obey them. These leaders who compel law-works are infuriated when people refuse to obey them. We see from Acts 26 that Paul was that way before his conversion. The glorious implications of the cross and the new creation promises are set in stark contrast with the bondage we were in before.
