Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the Lord can give an understanding wife.-Proverbs 19:14

The Lord is the reason why your wife understands your every need, thought, and circumstance. Jesus Christ is the one who you need to constantly thank because your true best friend brings you good things all the rest of your life (Proverbs 31:11-12). So whenever the enemy sends you a human dart to pull away your love and attention from your wife, quickly be aware of what Mark 10:9 says, "let no one split apart what God has joined together."

And for my single brothers in Christ, if you're still praying for a helpmate. You're still praying that the Lord blesses you with your own understanding wife, look to Genesis 2:18 and know that He hasn't forgotten about you.
