After God healed her heart at Charis from the scars of sexual abuse, Esther heard the calling to bring this same hope to the children of Manila, a slum in the Philippines where few dare to go. To learn more about her ministry Purim Trust visit https://thepurimtrust.org/ today.
Before Charis, Esther struggled to understand her worth. The victim of sexual abuse, she had no grasp of God’s love until she watched Andrew Wommack’s Gospel Truth Daily Show.
After renewing her mind to the truths found in God’s Kind of Love Towards You and Grace the Power of the Gospel, Esther knew that she needed more and enrolled into the Charis Bible College location in Walsall England.
Sitting in class, Esther felt the shame and guilt of her past disappear with the renewing of her mind as God’s unconditional love and grace became a reality. Motivated by what Jesus had provided, she had a heart for missions.
During a mission trip with her classmates, Esther visited Manila a slum in the Philippines. As she heard the screams of the raped, and saw the emptiness in the eyes of the abused, she knew that God had called her to start her non-profit, The Purim Trust.
For just thirty pounds per month, the Purim Trust gives children food, shelter, and an education both spiritual and practical. With over 130 children having their lives completely changed, The Purim Trust aims to bring lasting change to a country in need.
