Our Gospel text that the Holy Spirit has caused to be recorded, is taken from Jesus’ sermon on the mount. And in His sermon, Jesus wanted the people to know that that the false, self-righteous teachings the scribes and the Pharisees taught and practiced, would never lead to the Kingdom of God.

So, today we are going to use this text to closely look at the Law of God to see what its true purpose is.
