For my New Year's resolution, I thought it would be fun to start a weekly live stream on Christian faith and spirituality. When I asked some of my subscribers what format they preferred, the response was split.

A. Weekly Bible Study
B. Christian Spirituality in Everyday Life

When I took that to prayer to discern God's will, He led me to James 1, which reads:

"But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves." (NRSV)

And that's where I found my answer. We should do both options - focus on developing our spiritual life based on Scripture. So each week, that's exactly what we're going to do.
