To follow Jesus at a distance is to be a lukewarm Christian. Yet that's what the disciples did after Jesus' arrest. God said that He would rather we be hot or cold—never lukewarm. If we tone down our beliefs to appease others, we distance ourselves from Jesus. We must draw closer to Him every day!
