A Prayer of the Day. “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and you will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, you will learn to know God better and better.” (Colossians 1:10 NLT)

Lord, I pray for brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, thank you for their lives, their commitment to you, their love for you and for others. Lord, protect them from temptations, life’s worries, riches, and pleasures. Keep them from Satan’s lie that they cannot honor and please you, Lord. Help them to hear your voice “You are precious in my eyes. I’m well pleased by you, my child.” Help them to know you more and more. Bring them closer to you. Father, pour your Spirt and fill them with you Spirit. Holy Spirit, be their life and direct their minds and drive their actions. Bear your fruit in their lives so that the Father will be glorified. In Jesus name. Amen.
