The main theme of the book of Colossians is the supremacy of Christ. And the main purpose of Christian ministry fits with that theme because the main purpose of Christian ministry is to “present everyone complete in Christ” (Col. 1:28).

But what does that mean for each of us in our specific ministries?

God has a unique purpose for every Christian and every ministry. There are many different ways we can be involved in ministry. God wants to work through you and use your gifts, experiences, connections, resources, and talents to lead people to Christ and to help them grow in Christ. In Colossians 2:1-5, we see four important principles that will help us accomplish the purpose God has for us.
