This is a longer section to give context to a famous verse. I saw this psalm in a new light by reading 2 Peter. Unless we see and remember how God humbles the nations and brings desolation to warring rebellious kings, we will forget that he is present with us.


"if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah... and if he rescued Lot... if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the Godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgement." - 2 Pet 2:6-9

"He *breaks* the bow" is correct.
I need more dynamics and variation in my rhythm.
