We are commanded to forgive others in scripture, it's not optional. Forgiveness may feel like we're letting another person off the hook for the pain they caused, but we are really freeing ourselves from the hate and bitterness that can hold us hostage. Corrie ten Boom displayed the power and importance of forgiveness in some inspiring ways.
