God created a Sabbath's day rest for you. In order to take this day of rest you need to trust Him, that everything will get done. In our busy, fast-paced lives we have a tendency not to trust Him. If I take a day off; my work will not get done...so we think. The lack of created space in our lives increases our stress and shortens our tempers. I find it interesting that God calculated for this created space in our busy world and we can trust Him that He knows what we need. This lack of trust can distract us from the most important things in our lives . . . and our relationships suffer. It will severely affect our relationship with God because there's a connection between our willingness to create space and our faith in Him.
