Diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Sunny could not eat any of his favorite foods without paralyzing pain or a trip to the hospital. All this would change when he reluctantly joined his wife at Andrew’s Grace and Faith Conference in the UK.

When a trip to the emergency room threatened his life, doctors determined that Sunny had the rare and incurable Crohn’s disease. Having grown-up in India, Sunny could no longer eat the spicy foods he had long enjoyed, eventually settling for a diet of scrambled eggs and white bread.

In and out of the hospital for biotherapy sessions, Sunny’s hope that God wanted him well withered away as his condition only worsened. Traumatized from the fear of nearly losing her husband, Sunny’s wife Deepti reached a breaking point herself. Suffering from multiple panic attacks, she turned her attention to the only person who could help her, God.

While searching for Christian Healing on YouTube, she stumbled across Andrew Wommack. Encouraged by his revelation that Jesus had already paid the price for everyone’s healing, Deepti knew that if only she could get her husband prayed for, he would get healed.

Though Sunny didn’t expect anything to happen, he joined Deepti at Andrew’s Grace and Faith Conference “just to make her happy” and chose to sit in the very back of the arena.

For the next several days Sunny heard revelation after revelation such as “You’ve Already Got It,” “God Wants You Well,” and “The True Nature of God.” On the last day of the conference Andrew had a word of knowledge from the stage. While speaking in tongues the Holy Spirit prompted him that someone in the audience could not eat the food that they used to love, “Crohn’s Disease,” he eventually said.

Knowing how rare Chron’s Disease was, Sunny knew that God was calling him out directly. As Andrew told Crohn’s leave, he gave one final word to ‘go out and eat what you couldn’t eat before.’

That evening Sunny and Deepti went to a restaurant and ordered the very things that would have sent him to the hospital. As he enjoyed his meal of chicken kabobs and peri peri sauce, he noticed that he no longer had any of his flare-ups- he was completely healed!

When he went to the doctor for a scheduled check-up, his C-reactive protein levels, which had previously been at 85, had dropped to 6.7. Since then they have dropped to an even healthier 4.5.

Today Sunny not only enjoys his favorite foods, his freedom from Crohn’s Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome has opened doors for him to share the Gospel with other Indian families throughout England. Armed with the power of the Holy Spirit and a revelation that God wants everyone well, him and his wife Deepti see healings, miracles and breakthroughs, everywhere they go.
