The famous question asked by the Roman governor of Judea under Emperor Tiberius, Pontius Pilate, “What is truth?” According to John 18:38 he asked this of none other than Jesus of Nazareth, whom Christians believe is the foretold Messiah of pre-Christian texts.

What is the answer? Did Jesus give one to Pilate…or to anyone else? How would you answer the question, as a Christian or as a non-Christian?

Join me this evening to discuss why I believe Jesus chose not to answer Pilate according to the account in John Chapter 18, as well as where I believe Jesus does answer this question in other contexts as recorded by John. I believe you will find the answer Jesus gives, even though not directly to Pilate, to be useful when you consider this same question whether or not you are a Christian.
