2:13 You must become submissive to every human establishment, on account of the Lord, whether it is to a king as one who is superior,

2:14 or to governors like those appointed by a king for the judicial process of those who really are criminals, but for approval to good people.

2:15 For the will of God is of such a kind that when you do good it silences the verbal ignorance of foolish people.

2:16 Live as free people but not as if you have a cloak which provides freedom for badness. Instead, use your freedom as servants of God.
