6:17 To those who are rich in the present age: You must not be arrogant, nor hope on unreliable wealth. Instead, hope because of God, the one who offers us everything, as much as we need for enjoyment.

6:18 You are to do good, to become rich in honorable [or, "honest"] works, to be generous, sharing.

6:19 Those who do these things are gaining a beautiful foundation as treasure for themselves in the future, so they may grab ahold of the real life.
