3:11 As these structures and human handiwork are being removed, what type of people must you be during sacred acts and in living God's way?

3:12 You are to be living in expectation and in a hurry to reach the arrival of the Day of God, on account of which heavens are being burned as they are set free and structures are being burned up as they melt.

3:13 However, there are new heavens and new land according to his promise, for which we wait, in which righteousness lives.
