3:9 The Lord does not delay the promise, like some people regard "delay." Instead, he waits patiently for you, not intending for anyone to be wiped out. Rather, he continues to make allowance, intending for everyone to turn around.

3:10 But the Day of the Lord will come, like an intruder, during which the heavens will disappear with the sound of a loud wind. Then structures will be broken apart as they are burned and land as well as humankind's handiwork in it will be plainly visible.
