3:6 For these people are those who, like worms, enter into homes and gain control over weak women who have been consumed with wrongdoing, as they are guided by all sorts of desires.

3:7 These types of people are always learning, but they are unable to come near a correct knowledge of truth.

3:8 Now in the same manner Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also those whom I described stand against the truth, people whose mind has been destroyed, who are unfit for the faith.

3:9 Yet, they will not continue for very long since their insanity will be obvious to all, even as Jannes' and Jambres' insanity was shown.
