Hebrews Chapter 10
30 Indeed, we have come to know the one who said, "Revenge belongs to me. I will give the consequences" [Deuteronomy 32:35]; and further, "Lord [Jaho(h)-ah] will judge his people" [Deuteronomy 32:36].
31 To fall into the hands of a living God is terrifying.
32 On the other hand, you must remember the past days in which, after you were made spiritually aware [or, "enlightened"], you put up with many difficult struggles involving suffering conditions.
33 Indeed, you are exposed to open humiliation this way both with insults and with severely troubling conditions, and as a result of becoming partners with others in this same way of life.
