2:7 You must present yourself as an example of good works in all things. In what you teach show honesty, integrity, with respect.

2:8 You must present a healthy message no one can criticize. This way the one who is from an opposing position might be moved to reconsider, having nothing bad [or, "evil"] to say about us.

2:9 Employees [or, "Servants"] are to obey their respective employers [or, "sovereigns"] in all things, to be pleasing, not argumentative.

2:10 Employees are not to embezzle [or, "defraud," "steal"]. Instead, they must give evidence of complete, morally correct trust. In this way, the teaching of our Savior, God, might make an improvement on everyone [or, "be as a decoration in all things"].
