John the Baptist’s life did not progress in a way that was easy nor desirable. In fact, he ends up at odds with the rulers of the day over John’s stance on God’s Word when it comes to appropriate relationships. It leads to John being put in a jail and ultimately a death sentence. How would you reconcile faithfulness to God’s Word and devastating life circumstances in your own life? Perhaps, like John, you would have some doubts about Jesus and the Will of God. Today, we’ll talk about doubts and how faith and God’s Grace can still ground us when questions arise.
