King David of ancient Israel not only led the armies in war but also the people in worship. In Psalm 34, one of the famed psalms of David, we're reminded that those who fear (i.e. reverence & worship) the Lord receive deliverance from the fear of anything or anyone else. "Those who look to Him are radiant [and] never covered with shame" (v. 5, NIV).
