Bill Johnson talks about the pursuit of more of God and the kind of prayer that births revival. Throughout history we see God responding to people’s hunger for more of Him with great breakthrough and outpourings of His Holy Spirit. But revival was never supposed to be an event or limited to a certain season, it was supposed to be the realm from which we live in continuously. God’s plan is always to take us from glory to glory. However, we choose to level off when we become “experts” in the things of God rather than remaining childlike. It’s important that we remain both thankful and hungry in our pursuit of God; thankful for all that God has done, but always hungry for more.
