Paul writes to the Church of Philipi and encouraged them to be likeminded, and to let the same mind (attitude) that Christ had, to dwell in them. He lays out the type of mind that Jesus Christ had, which was a mind of a servant that put others in front of Him.

He mentioned the fact that Jesus left all the Glory and splendor in heaven and came down and took the form of a man and humbled Himself even unto the death of the Cross.
