Yesterday we covered two scriptures you can claim over the lives of youth that are wandering away from their faith and/or their relationship with their parents. Today, let’s cover another that applies.
Romans 8:35–39 is a powerful passage that speaks of God’s love for t us. It starts with, “So who can separate us? What can come between us and the love of God’s Anointed? Can troubles, hardships, persecution, hunger, poverty, danger, or even death? The answer is, absolutely nothing” (VOICE).
It then goes on to list all the things that fail to separate us from God’s love (see today’s verse). Let’s think about these verses for a minute. Can anything separate us from God’s love for us? If these kids you’re praying for are being influenced by their peers, is that more powerful than God’s love for them? Do their mess ups and failures separate them from God’s love?
No! NOTHING can separate them from God’s love!
Now, let’s claim these verses over their lives: “Father, thank you that nothing could ever separate (names) from your love. NOTHING! No matter what happens, they are more than conquerors in Christ. They will always have victory, and nothing will ever come between them and your love for them. I'm believing that (names) are going to become more aware of your love and goodness, which means they're going to choose to draw closer to you (Romans 2:4)!
