Yeshua taught that we are not to retaliate against those who hurt us, but we are to respond by doing good. This is certainly a challenging task. It is tempting to respond to evil in kind, especially when the mistreatment comes from an enemy! But in our text for this morning, Matthew 5:43-48, we find Yeshua's teaching concerning the treatment of our enemies.
