Do not be afraid. In this daily devotional on John 6:15-21, we look at the familiar story of Jesus walking on water. The writer of the 4th Gospel wanted people to see and know that Jesus was not just another guy, but in fact, He was the God man. When Jesus walks on water, and calms the storms, he demonstrates his divinity and shows that he is more than just a man.

Just as Jesus had power to calm the storms of nature in this story, He has the power to calm the storms of our life as well. Because of that, when the storms come, and they will, we don't have to be afraid!
