In Jesus' third post resurrection appearance to the disciples, he directs them to a miraculous catch of fish, then asks Peter 3 times, "Do you love me?" This wounds Peter deeply, but I wonder if it can affect us so. Is Jesus real enough to us that such a question even makes much sense?
