14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. Luke 8:14-15.
This parable is all about becoming spiritually maturity in Jesus Christ. When we let the thing of this world choke out the tings of the Kingdom of God we will not mature in our walk with Him and we not be able to do the things He has called us to do.
