Welcome to Calvary's Online Campus!

In this sermon, Pastor Robert walks through 1 Kings 6:1-13 to explore one of the most overlooked dangers a believer can face — building for God while neglecting your own walk with Him.

Solomon's construction of the Temple is one of the most ambitious undertakings in all of Scripture. It was intentional, carefully prepared, and built step by step with remarkable precision. But right in the middle of all that great work, God paused and spoke directly to Solomon with a sobering warning: the Temple would mean nothing without personal obedience.

What You’ll Learn:
1. Why God's work must be rooted in what He has already done (and what that means for you today)

2. How preparation and behind-the-scenes faithfulness shape everything that's eventually seen

3. The hidden danger of doing great things for God while drifting from God

4. Why obedience is always more important than sacrifice — and what that looks like practically

5. How God's presence is tied to your life, not just your accomplishments

This sermon is for anyone who is busy serving, building, or sacrificing for God but may have quietly let their personal walk slip. It's a message about staying connected to the vine even when the work is good and the cause is worthy.

We pray that you are blessed by the message!
