One of the biggest challenges in ministry is to go into dark places without taking on the offenses of those we are there to serve. I believe it is one of the things that keeps us from having the measure of cultural impact that the Lord desires for us. Bitterness is contaminating in nature, and we must be intentional not to pick up the offenses of those around us.
