The early church, it was all about Jesus. They actually gave their life for the gospel. It wasn't a chore. They were happy, happy to die for Jesus. And this is what I feel. I feel like the Lord is purifying the bride and He's bringing us back to the simplicity of who Jesus is, because we don't want anything else. We've tried it, we've tasted it, it did us no good. My whole life I was searching for what does God have for me? What am I gonna do with my life? And I'm not saying that's bad, but I didn't realize that if I found Jesus, I would find every single thing I had ever been searching for, and He would fulfill the desire in my heart like I needed.
