When the early church was persecuted it seemed like a negative thing, but God used it to spread the gospel and allow the church to grow.
The church of Antioch was able to focus on three key things: preaching, teaching, and exhorting. By doing these things and other important things discussed in this study, the church grew, assembled, and became a major hub for spreading the gospel. We have to continue with these three core things if we also want to be effective as the church.
