Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through the Book of 1 Thessalonians in this sermon from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 entitled, "Encouraging Truths of the Coming Resurrection."
Because of the resurrection at Christ’s coming, we have hope in sorrow and hearts full of courage.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, the Apostle Paul commands Christ-followers to encourage one another with wonderful truths concerning the coming resurrection. In this passage of Scripture, Paul points out three things that will happen when Christ Jesus returns. First, the dead in Christ will be raised, then all believers will be gathered together, and we will ultimately be forever united with Him! Because of this, when a Christ-follower dies, we do not have to grieve as those who have no hope.
The following is a sermon from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
